Published Poets

Tanner Early Learning Center has published poets! Last April many 1st grade students submitted poetry to the Young American Poetry Digest and 10 students had their poem chosen to be included in the 2022 Edition. The Young American Poetry Digest is designed to share our youth's talents with others and to provide a national publishing opportunity for young poets. New Books

Check out some of the new titles in the library

The Pigeon is a favorite of many and Mo Willems has this new book out where Pigeon experiences an emotional loop-de-loop as he anticipates his turn to ride the roller coaster. Waiting is so hard as we wait in many lines and wait for our turn often. See how Pigeon handles waiting.

In this series readers compare and contrast two ferocious creatures and learn about anatomies, behavoirs and more through pictures, charts, and amazing facts.

First book written by former Ambassador of School Libraries for Scholastic Book Fairs, John Schu. This book really illustrates that a school as more than a building, it is all the people who work and learn together. It is a place for discovery and asking questions, a place for sharing, helping, and for community. It is a place for hope.

These will be humourous reads, need I say more.

New series and adding to existing series.
