The Kaukauna Public Library has presented to all of our students about the Summer Reading Program. Miss Donna from the public library read and played the ukulele to our 4K friends. The summer reading program can be completed online using Beanstack. And did you know the summer reading program is for all age levels from kids to adults. There are many activities planned including ukulele lessons. Mrs Scharf and I are going to learn the ukulele.

Kaukauna Public Library Summer Reading Program

The Kaukauna Public Library will present the Summer reading program to kindergarten and 1st grade on either May 11 or May 12 during library class.  They will present to 4K on May 24 during normal library checkout times.

Last Book Checkout

The next rotation (May 10) will be the last checkout of the year. Some of your classes will have checkout on a different day during the rotation because of visits by the Kaukauna Public Library. I will email classes that have a switch in checkout days.

All library books are due back on Thursday, May 25, 2023

Published Poets

Some of our 1st grade students are published poets. Their Haiku Poem was selected to be included in the 2023 edition of  Young American Poetry Digest.
