April is Poetry Month

 


Tanner Elementary students have been learning about poetry this month. The first grade students wrote class haikus and were challenged to write their own. The poems were submitted to the Young American Poetry Digest with hopes of getting published.  You can read them here.

Motorcycles

They are super cool.

They can do super cool tricks.

Super fantastic.

When I’m feeling blue.

Puppies fill my heart with love.
