This is celebrated the week of February 27 with some fun dress up days.

Library Skills

Students have been learning about book awards and are voting on the Mock Caldecott.  1st grade votes are in and Kindergarten will vote during their next rotation.  Kindergarten will need headphones for the next rotation. Presently Knight Owl is winning with Pigeon and Cat right behind.

Plastic Bags

If you have any plastic bags, the library will always take them. 

The Energy Bus

New book in the library

George is having a bad day until he gets on the Energy Bus and learns how to stay positive and overcome challenges. Use the picture book version of Jon Gordon's The Energy Bus in your classroom.Visit www.Energy/BusKids.com for a discussion and activity guide.
 

World Languages Books

Google Sites

Do you use Google Sites for any webpage that you created? Editing in Classic Sites will be turned off starting 1/30/23. Act now to review and migrate from Classic Sites to New Sites.  

You will know which edition of sites you are using by looking at the logo.

 How cool are these books! The Blastoff Missions series takes you on a learning adventure with colorful illustrations, cool facts, and additional resourses. These are great for teaching informational text and are geared toward Pre-k - grade 3.
