 Balloons Over Broadway

As Tony Sarg would say..."Let's have a parade." Tony Sarg is the father of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the students learned about it in Library Skills by reading the book "Balloons Over Broadway". In art class they created their balloons and in music class they learned about parade music and marching. Link to video

The students created an Ozobot balloon parade with skyscrapers made with Legos to continue the experience. Ozobots are tiny robots that read color coding.

Kindergarten Skills

In library skills the students read Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter by Kenard Pak. To show how the seasons change from autumn to winter they coded Beebots to go from an autumn tree to a winter tree.

Les and Joyce Abel Positive Attitude Foundation

Tanner Library received two books from the Les and Joyce Abel Positive Attitude Foundation.

Doug prefers not to be hugged. This simple, effective plea to respect other people's boundaries is set in a comical way. It is a cheerful approach to basic consent.
This book celebrates individuality and John shows us he has courage to show others his talent for dancing during his school's sharing gifts time.

New Books

23 new PebbleGo articles were released in October

Library Bags

We can always use plastic bags if you have any to spare.
