Tanner Golden Archer
The Golden Archer is a kids' choice award where students in Wisconsin nominate and then vote on their favorite book. Tanner Elementary just finished voting and Who Would Win? Walrus vs Elephant Seal won. The votes were sent to the Golden Archer committee and the state winner will be announced in March.
Library Skills
In our next three rotations of library skills students will be taking part in Maker Madness. The students will experience various technologies and resources that allow them to use creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and play.
Tanner Book Tournament
The library will be promoting a March Madness Book Tournament that features some of the favorite books from this year. Students will vote via a Google form during skills until we have a winner. With the votes we will nominate Golden Archer books for next school year and find out the favorite at Tanner this year.

Other Notes
- IT has asked that we continuously check for Chromebook damage and routinely bring damaged Chromebooks to the library for repair. It is helpful to stay on top of it so there is not so many repairs at the end of the school year.
- Google no longer supports the model of Chromecast that we have in most of our classrooms. As these devices age, we are not able to get same-model replacements. IT strongly encourages users to use a wired connection whenever possible.
- Zoom will not be included on next year's laptop image. You will be able to use Zoom through the browser.
- 27 iPads were purchased with Common School Funds and are available for classroom use. That means we have 2 classroom sets of iPads.
- The PAC has provided us with additional headphones. If you have a student that needs them send them to the library for a pair.
- This is Sand This is a calming activity to watch the grains of colored sand fall into interesting formations. Try this on your BenQ for whole class fun. Turn up the volume to hear the sand fall.
- Please have students bring returned library books to the LMC as early in the day as possible.
