Tanner students studied various book awards such as the Caldecott, the Coretta Scott King, and the Theodor Seuss Geisel. After reading and analyzing many new picture books they voted on the book they would choose to win the Caldecott award. Tanner students choose Lift by Minh Le and illustrated by Dan Santat. The Youth Media Awards will be announced on Monday January 25th. I wonder if our choice will win.
